Amat, Andresen Earn MAC Doubles Team of the Week Honors

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis duo of Ambre Amat and Esmee Andresen has been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
It is the second weekly honor for Amat/Andresen and the Bulls this season.
Amat and Andresen came up big this weekend as they won two matches at the first doubles position to lead Buffalo to doubles point wins in victories over Duquesne and Niagara on Friday. They earned a hard-fought 7-5 win over the Dukes before cruising to a 6-2 win over Niagara in the nightcap. Both players also went a perfect 2-0 in singles action on the weekend.
Buffalo returns to action on Friday, February 23rd at 11am as they square off against Hillsborough in the first match of their spring training trip.
