BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will travel to Kent State for a pair of Saturday duals. The Bulls will face the Golden Flashes at noon followed by Gardner-Webb.
The young Bulls continue to improve after positive results last weekend against American and George Mason. Kaleb Burgess and Marcus Petite each won both of their matches. In fact, Petite upset #24 Malachi DuVall of George Mason in his second match of the day.
Kent State is 1-3 on the season, with its win coming against Gannon. The Bulls have had recent success against the Golden Flashes, winning six of the last seven duals.
Gardner-Webb is 0-2 on the year, losing to similar opponents Purdue and Army. The Bulls have a 6-1 all-time record against the Bulldogs, most recently winning, 20-17, last year.
Both duals will be live streamed. Click here to watch.
