Bulls Travel to Cornell for Saturday Dual

BUFFALO, NY – It will be another tough test for the University at Buffalo wrestling team as they travel to eighth-ranked Cornell on Saturday afternoon. It will be a homecoming for head coach Donnie Vinson who spent three years as an assistant coach on the Big Red staff.
The Bulls are 1-3 on the season and are facing their third-straight nationally ranked program. Max Elton and Marcus Petite are both 2-2 on the season to lead the Bulls.
All 10 starters for Cornell are in the national rankings. Meyer Shapiro is ranked second at 157, Julian Ramirez is ranked fourth at 165, Chris Foca is ranked eighth at 184, Greg Diakomihalis is ranked ninth at 125, Ethan Fernandez is ranked 14th at 149, Simon Ruiz is ranked 14th at 174, Vince Cornella is ranked 17th at 141, Brett Ungar is ranked 20th at 133, Mikey Dellagatta is ranked 25th at 197 and Ashton Davis is ranked 31st at 285.
The dual starts at noon and will air on ESPN+.
Buffalo will remain in Ithaca and compete at the Big Red Invitational on Sunday.
