Bulls Fall to Toledo 5-2 on Friday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team fell to Toledo 5-2 on Friday afternoon at Miller Tennis Center.
Toledo took the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles. Aleksandr Kalinin and Daniils Snaiders won 6-4 at second doubles.
In singles action, Simon Wibler gave the Bulls their first point of the day with a 7-5, 6-3 win at second singles but the Rockets followed with wins at first and sixth singles to take a 3-1 lead in the match. The Bulls continued to battle, forcing a third set at second, fourth and fifth singles with UB needing a win in all three matches but Toledo came away with a win at second singles to secure the match.
Junior Finn Macnamara overcame a dropped second set to rally for a 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 victory at fifth singles.
The Bulls conclude weekend play on Sunday, March 26 against Ball State at 11am at Miller Tennis Center.
