Bulls in Second Place After Day One of MAC Championships

OXFORD, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (3-3, 3-2 MAC) are in second place after day one of the Mid-American Conference Championships. The first evening of the MAC Championships had two events: the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays. The Bulls earned a total of 68 points of a possible 80.
The team of Mia Naccarella, Katie Pollock, Clarice Fisher, and Toni Naccarella earned the silver medal in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:37.97.
The Bulls also claimed the silver medal in the 800 freestyle relay, with the team of Sawyer Bosley, Mia Naccarella, Marij van der Mast, and Toni Naccarella setting a school record by finishing in 7:11.06, breaking the previous record by .2-seconds.

Day two of competition will begin with the 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, and 50 Freestyle prelims at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. The 1-Meter Diving prelims will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the finals will begin at 6:30 p.m.
