Bulls Travel to Journeymen Classic for a Pair of Duals on Saturday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will compete at the Journeymen Classic on Saturday in Bethlehem, PA. The Bulls will face LIU at 10 am followed by North Carolina at 12 pm.
The Bulls are 4-0 on the season after sweeping the Buffalo Duals on November 1.
It will mark the third time in the last four years Buffalo will wrestle LIU. The Bulls won the previous three meetings, including a 28-6 victory last year.
It will be just the second time UB and North Carolina will meet. The only other meeting was back in 2013 with the Tar Heels defeating the Bulls, 26-12.
North Carolina is 2-1 on the season with wins over Queens and Greensboro College and a loss to Oregon State. The Tar Heels have four wrestlers in the national rankings, led by a pair in the top 10. Lachlan McNeil is ranked third at 141 and Gavin Kane is ranked sixth at 184.
