Bulls Host Kent State on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team is back in action on Sunday when it hosts Kent State at Alumni Arena. It is the first of five straight Mid-American Conference duals to end the regular season.
Buffalo is looking to stay perfect in the MAC after wins against Edinboro and SIU-Edwardsville. The Bulls have two wrestlers in the national rankings, led by Giuseppe Hoose who was ranked 20th at 184 in the first official NCAA rankings released on Friday.
Kent State is 0-6 overall and 0-1 in the MAC on the season. The Golden Flashes are led by Jake Ferri who is ranked 28th at 125 lbs. and Enrique Munguia who is ranked 27th at 165.
Kent State leads the all-time series, 26-11. The Bulls have won four of the last five meetings, including a 27-9 victory at Kent State last season.
