BLOOMINGTON, IN - The University at Buffalo track and field team got action underway at the NCAA East Preliminary round on Wednesday as the Mid-American Conference champion Jonathan Surdej competed in the shot put.
Surdej finished in 40th place amongst 48 competitors with a throw of 16.98m (55-8.5) on his final throw of the evening.
UB continues action tomorrow as Molly McCreedy will compete in the women's shot put.
