Two Bulls Earn All-MAC Track & Field Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced their 2022 Outdoor Track and Field All-MAC honors on Wednesday morning. Two Bulls earned honors this season. On Saturday, it was announced that Tal Hamel earned Freshman Track Performer of the Year. He is the first Bull to earn this honor.
MEN'S FIRST TEAM ALL-MAC
Jonathan Surdej, Shot Put
Jonathan Surdej won the shot put with a toss of 17.82-meters, a new personal best that moves him to seventh in program history. Surdej has now won the shot put at four consecutive MAC Championships starting with the 2021 indoor championships.
WOMEN'S SECOND TEAM ALL-MAC
Zaria Fuller, High Jump
Zaria Fuller claimed the silver medal in the women's high jump. She jumped a height of 1.76-meters, tying her personal best mark. Fuller also competed in the 100-meter hurdles (10th place, 14.22-seconds), the 4x100-meter relay (7th place, 46.49-seconds), and the 4x400-meter relay (10th place, 3:54.45).
