Bulls Travel to North Dakota State for Another Tough Test

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team travels to North Dakota State to take on the 18^th-ranked Bison on Sunday afternoon. It is the fifth nationally ranked program the Bulls will face to start the season.

UB is coming off a 25-16 win over Gannon. After a sluggish start, the Bulls rattled off six straight wins, including two tech falls and a pin to pull away for the victory.

Buffalo has three wrestlers getting national recognition. Michael Petite (2-0) is ranked 19^th by FloWrestling at 157. Giuseppe Hoose (10-2) is ranked 24^th by InterMat at 184 and Jay Nivison (2-3) is an honorable mention by FloWrestling.

North Dakota State is 2-0 on the season with wins over #8 Nebraska and Binghamton. The Bison has five wrestlers in the national rankings. Dylan Droegemueller is ranked 7^th at 141; Jared Franek is ranked 7^th at 157; Mikey Caliendo is ranked 13^th at 157; Carlos Negrete is ranked 27^th at 125 and Owen Pentz is ranked 30^th at 197.
