Wright Added to Hula Bowl Roster

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo linebacker Kadofi Wright has accepted an invitation to play in the 2022 Hula Bowl All-Star game on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Bounce House Stadium in Orlando. He will join teammate Kevin Marks, Jr. who has also been selected to play in the all-star game.
An All-MAC selection in 2019, Wright just finished his career with the Bulls. He totaled 147 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four interceptions and three forced fumbles over his career. He also scored three defensive touchdowns, including two via interception.
It marks the second straight season UB will be represented at the Hula Bowl. Former linebacker Tyree Thompson played in last year's contest.
The 2022 Hula Bowl will kick off at noon on Saturday and will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
Since its inception in 1957, the Hula Bowl has featured over 6,000 players including legends such as Deion Sanders, Dan Marino, Ricky Williams, Billy Sims, Tony Dorsett and Eric Dickerson.
