BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team opens up a two-game road trip on Tuesday evening with a battle against Western Michigan in Kalamazoo. Both teams will be playing their first game in a week after each team had their Saturday game postponed.
The Bulls are coming off a 99-88 win over Bowling Green this past Wednesday, highlighted by three players scoring 20 or more points, including career highs of 20 points and 15 rebounds from David Skogman, who was just the second player in the nation this year to score 20 points, while not missing a shot from the floor, the three point line or the free throw line.
In fact, UB is the only team in the nation to have at least three players score 20 or more points in a game multiple times this year.
Western Michigan is looking for its first conference win of the year following an 85-79 loss to Eastern Michigan last Tuesday. With their contest postponed on Saturday, the Broncos are now currently in the midst of a four-game homestand.
The Bulls lead the all-time series against Western Michigan, 17-13. Last year, the Bulls won 86-54 at home and 85-69 in Kalamazoo.
