Cole Named Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach

BUFFALO, NY - Jeremy Cole has been tabbed as the new head football strength and conditioning coach at the University at Buffalo, head coach Maurice Linguist announced on Tuesday. Cole comes to Buffalo after spending the previous four seasons as the assistant strength coach at Minnesota.
Prior to Minnesota, Cole spent eight seasons at Rutgers, which included four years as the head of strength and conditioning.
At Rutgers, Cole directed all aspects of the football team's in-season and offseason training. The 2015 offseason marked a banner year for the Rutgers strength and conditioning program as the Scarlet Knights broke 19 previously established school records in the weight room. The record-setting performances were a focus of the program heading into the school's second season in the Big Ten.
In 2007, Cole was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at North Carolina and worked with the football team. He also spent one season working with football at Kansas as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Cole's career began in the NFL as he worked for the Indianapolis Colts from 2005-06.
