
Burke Earns MAC Men’s Outstanding Field Performer of the Year Award

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the final 2021 MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship awards Wednesday morning. Senior high jumper Brandon Burke, who won the high jump with a height of 2.20-meters at this year's championships, has earned Men's Outstanding Field Performer of the Year. Burke also won this award for the MAC indoor championships.
Burke joins Buffalo field athlete royalty as he is the third UB field athlete to earn this award for the outdoor season. The most recent Bull to have this honor was Mike Morgan in 2014. Casey Garbaty also won this honor in 2010. Burke is currently ranked eighth in the NCAA East and 15th in the NCAA.
