BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Bulls Sports Properties, announced today new multi-year relationships with Buffalo First Realty Group and Cross State Funding respectively.
Together, Buffalo First Realty Group and Cross State Funding become the "Official Home Team" of UB Athletics. Both companies will receive numerous benefits as members of the Bulls' corporate partner family, and it marks the first time either Buffalo First Realty Group or Cross State Funding has entered into a college sports sponsorship.
"We're pleased to have Buffalo First Realty Group and Cross State Funding join our corporate partner family, and we're grateful for their support of our athletics programming and our dedicated student-athletes," said UB Director of Athletics Mark Alnutt. "It is tremendous to have these commitments, and we recognize what a challenging season it has been for everyone, including business owners. We're excited to work with them both, and I want to officially welcome them to the Bulls' family."
"At Buffalo First Realty Group, we're proud to be an official partner of UB Athletics, and we know our focus and dedication to our clients and community will be enriched by aligning our brand with the Bulls," said Ken Smith, a UB alumnus and one of the founders of Buffalo First Realty Group. "There's a special affinity shared between a university and its fans, alumni and community, and I know first-hand the associated loyalty and passion as a proud UB graduate."
As a complement to the "Official Home Team" designation, Cross State Funding and Buffalo First Realty Group will have use of the official UB Athletics' marks and logos and have significant digital visibility via the Bulls' official athletics social and website platforms. The companies also will receive exposure through radio and in-venue signage opportunities during football and basketball seasons. Additionally, Cross State Funding will be known as the Bulls' "Official Mortgage Broker" and Buffalo First Realty Group will be known as the Bulls' "Official Real Estate Partner."
"We are overjoyed to announce the beginning of a long-lasting relationship with UB Athletics, and what a privilege to now be a true part of the Bulls' community," added Cross State Funding Vice President Jesse Meyer.
