
Bulls Blow Toledo Out of the Water

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (3-0, 2-0 MAC) defeated Toledo (0-4, 0-4 MAC) by a score of 170-107 on Friday afternoon. The team improves to 3-0 overall on the season.
IN THE POOL
The Bulls had a dominant performance in the pool from the start. The team of Nicole Roitenberg, Katie Pollock, Clarice Fisher and Jillian Lawton would take first-place in the 200 medley relay in 1:43.67.
It wouldn't top there as UB would go 1-2-3 in the 50 backstroke. Roitenberg claimed first in 26.48 seconds, Mia Naccarella placed second in 26.66 seconds with Madison McDonough right behind for third-place in 27.81-seconds.
Brittney Beetcher would win the 800 freestyle by over five-seconds with a time of 8:11.09.
To close out the day, UB would win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:35.62 with Olivia Sapio, Allison Stockwell, Marij van der Mast and Lawton performing.
IN THE DIVING WELL
Victoria Franz displayed her veteran experience winning the 1-meter dive with a score of 288.83, over 50 points more than second-place. Patricia Arceri would finish in third-place with a score of 217.43.
NEXT UP
The Bulls won't be off for long as they will compete tomorrow at noon at Bowling Green (1-2, 1-2 MAC). The meet will be live streamed on YouTube as the Bulls look to close out their busy weekend with a win.
