Bulls Travel to Bucknell for a Pair of Duals on Saturday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will travel to Bucknell on Saturday for a pair of duals. The Bulls will face the host Bison as well as Lock Haven.
After winning three straight duals, the Bulls are coming off a loss to North Dakota State last Saturday. Derek Spann (133) remains in the national rankings, ranked 29th. Tristan Daugherty has been wrestling well lately. The sophomore 125-pounder has won three of his last four matches.
The Bulls will begin the day at 11 am against Bucknell. The Bison are 3-1 on the season. Bucknell is led by Darren Miller who is 6-0 and ranked 18th at 141 lbs.
The Bulls lead the all-time series, 10-4. The teams last met in 2018 with Buffalo winning 25-12.
At 12:30, the Bulls will battle conference foe Lock Haven. The Eagles are led by 125-pounder Anthony Noto who is 15-1 overall, 3-0 in duals and ranked 27th.
Lock Haven leads the all-time series, 6-4. This will be the first meeting since the Eagles joined the MAC in 2019.
UB assistant coach Kyle Shoop was a standout at Lock Haven from 2015-20.
