Bulls Continue Season-Opening Road Trip At North Texas

DENTON, TX - The University at Buffalo continues their season-opening two-game road trip on Monday night as the Bulls head to North Texas for the second all-time meeting between UB and the Mean Green. UNT won the only other meeting, 102-91 on Dec. 11, 1999 at the Indiana Classic in Bloomington.
This will actually be the second time in the last three games that Buffalo plays at North Texas as UB's NIT contest against Colorado State last year was played there.
Buffalo is coming off an 88-76 loss at #6 Michigan where the Bulls outscored the Wolverines in the second half. Senior Jeenathan Williams led all scorers with 32 points, tied for third most a player in the nation this year.
North Texas won its opener on Tuesday evening, am 84-53 win over Oklahoma Christian. The Mean Green was led by 22 points from Tylor Perry off the bench.
UNT won the C-USA tournament last year and defeated Purdue in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Former Bulls James Reese and Javion Hamlet were both on last year's North Texas team. Reese is currently playing his final season at South Carolina.
Next up for Buffalo is its home opener on Saturday, Nov. 20 when the Bulls host Rider in the Cancun Challenge campus game.
