
Bulls Home to Host George Mason on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will host George Mason in a Mid-American Conference dual at Alumni Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Patriots are new to the conference this year.
The Bulls are coming off a hard-fought loss to #19 Missouri last Sunday. UB posted wins by Derek Spann at 133, Marcus Robinson at 141 and Troy Keller at 165.
For Spann, it was his third straight win by technical fall. At 7-1, he has had a dominant start to the season. The redshirt-junior has an astounding 16 4-point nearfalls on the season, which already ranks third in school history for a single season. Spann is currently ranked 15th in the national rankings.
George Mason is 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the MAC this season. The Patriots are led by Kolby Ho at 157 who is 14-5 on the year.
Buffalo leads the all-time series with the Patroit, 2-0. The Bulls won the last meeting, 26-7, at George Mason last season.
The dual is scheduled to start at 1 pm.
