
Bulls Look to Stay Undefeated as they Travel to Oxford, Ohio

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (1-0, 1-0 MAC) will travel to Oxford, Ohio as they face Miami (OH) (0-6, 0-2 MAC) on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. The Bulls are 1-16 all-time against the RedHawks. The Bulls' lone win came in the 2017-18 season where they won by a score of 198-102.
The Bulls will face the Miami RedHawks who were selected to finish fourth in the MAC preseason coaches' poll. The RedHawks finished in fourth place at the 2019 MAC Championships.
The Bulls are off to a dominant start to the season. In their first two meets of the season, they have claimed first place in 27 of their first 34 events. This includes 20 events where multiple Bulls finished in the top-three.
In Saturday's meet against Ball State, sophomore Katie Pollock tied Carol Cottingham (1998) for 10th in UB's all-time 100 yard breaststroke list in a time of 1:04.80. She will look to break her own personal-best this weekend. Victoria Franz has started her freshman season off on a high note as she has already qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones after two meets. She has scored a 286.35 in the 1-meter dive and a 318.90 in the 3-meter dive.
The meet will start at 11 a.m. at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center with live results in the MeetMobile app.
