
Buffalo Falls to Miami (OH) by a Stroke, 151.5-148.5

OXFORD, OHIO – The University at Buffalo women's swimming & diving team narrowly lost the Miami RedHawks by a score of 151.5-148.5.
To start the day, Nicole Roitenberg, Katie Pollock, Andrea Ernst and Jillian Lawton won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:44.72. This is the team's top time of the season.
Roitenberg would go on to have a career day as she would finish in first place in three of her four events. She won the 100 backstroke in 56.35 and the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:02.28. Both of these times are now in the top-10 of their respective events as she passes Maddy Jacumski (56.44, 2019) for 10th in the 100 backstroke and Claudia Casale (2:02.64, 2017) for 10th in the 200 backstroke.
Jenna Krull finished in third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.66, which is now number-10 on UB's all-time list in this event as she passes Carol Cottingham (1:04.80, 1998) and Katie Pollock (1:04.80, 2020).
In diving, the Bulls would go on to sweep both events. UB dominated the RedHawks in the 1-meter dive as Victoria Franz (297.15), Journi Northorp (261.37) and Patricia Arceri (251.40) would finish first, second and third. Franz would go on and win the 3-meter dive with a score of 306.01 with Northorp claiming second place (283.50) and Arceri finishing in third place with 262.96 points.
The Bulls will have two week off as they will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio State Invite from Nov. 21-23. For full meet results, click here.
