
Five Bulls Named To MAC Honor Roll

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo softball team had five individuals named to the MAC Honor Roll for 2016-17. Included on the list is Kenzie Koch, Taylor Light, Essence Savinon, Taylor Scott, and Bobbi Langlois.
Koch concluded her UB playing career last season, but has remained part of the team, serving as a student assistant coach for the Bulls in 2016-17. Light has made nine appearances in the circle for the Bulls, including three starts this year.
Savinon has played in 34 of the first 40 games, making 29 starts, mostly at designated player and first base. She is batting .250 with 19 hits, four doubles, and six runs batted in.
Scott has appeared in 30 games, starting 16 of those contests. She has also served as a reliable pinch runner for the Bulls, scoring the game-winning run this past Sunday against Western Michigan.
Langlois, a fifth-year senior, has made 17 appearances in the circle, starting eight games. She is third on the team in earned run average and has pitched three complete games. She has thrown 62.2 innings.
In order to be eligible for the MAC Honor Roll, student-athletes must have an overall average of 3.0 or high. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible.
