BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York men's soccer team (3-4-3, 0-0-0 MAC) earned their second straight tie on Thursday night on the road at Stony Brook as freshman Hunter Walsh notched the game-tying goal in the 85th minute. The goal was the first of Walsh's career as the Bulls and Seawolves played to a 1-1 draw.

- The Short Story: Freshman forward Hunter Walsh picked a great time to score his firsat career goal for the Bulls as he notched the game-tying goal in the 85th minute off of a pass from Nicolay Netskar. The Bulls earned their second straight draw and have now gone to overtime four times this season.

How It Happened
- After a slow start from both sides, Cameron Hogg was asked to make the first save of the game in the 14th minute as he turned away the Serge Gamwanya attempt.
- In the 29th minute the Bulls recorded their first shot of the opening half as Daniel Cramarossa took a hard shot that was saved by the Stony Brook keeper.
- In the 40th minute, Scott Doney saw his header attempt saved by the keeper after a perfect free kick from Fox Slotemaker.
- Early on in the second half, Fox Slotemaker had a golden opportunity to open the scoring but his header attempt was punched off the goal line by the Stony Brook keeper.
- In the 60th minute, Dylan Cope fed Braden Scales who crossed a great ball into the box where Scott Doney's shot was denied from point blank, keeping the game scoreless.
- The Seawolves were able to get on the board first in the 66th minute as Alejandro Fritz sent the free kick into the box where Vince Erdei was able to flick the ball past Cameron Hogg for his third goal of the season.
- The Bulls held off the Stony Brook attack and responded with a flurry of their own as Daniel Cramarossa had a shot go wide and then Scott Doney had a header saved and a shot go just high of the net in the 82nd minute.
- Three minutes later the Bulls were able to knot the game at one as Braden Scales headed a long pass to Nicolay Netskar who calmly passed it to Hunter Walsh who beat the keeper to the right corner for the game-tying goal. The goal was Walsh's first of his career.
- As time wore down at the end of regulation, Cameron Hogg was asked to make one more big save as he denied Serge Gamwanya in the 88th minute to send the game to overtime.
- After a slow first overtime period, the Bulls had the best chance to win the game in overtime two as Braden Scales took a rocket from 30 yards out that was poked over the top of the net by the Stony Brook keeper to preserve the tie.
