
Bulls Ink Tamara Brcina to Women's Basketball NLI

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo, State University of New York women's basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack announced the signing of Tamara Brcina to a National Letter of Intent Monday. Standing at 6'2" from Tuzla, Bosnia, Brcina will join UB for the 2015-16 season.
"We're excited to have Tamara join our team," said Legette-Jack. "She's going to present us the three spot and the four spot. She can shoot the three, she can post up. She loves the hook shot and runs the floor very well. She will bode well in the offensive scheme that we have."
Brcina, a power forward, has been playing for women's basketball club, Jedinstvo Tulza, since she was eight years old. A tenacious defender, she played as a member of the Bosnian National Team the last three years. Brcina took third place at the national championships of Bosnia and Herzegovina with her under-18 team.
"I'm excited about this class and how it has evolved. I think we have an exceptional group in Gabi, Brittany, Kandance, Mirte and Tamara. It will compliment the class we signed last year as well."
The daughter of Božo and Nada, she has younger siblings, twins Ivan and Monika.
