
Bulls Madness Set For Oct. 23 At 7:00 pm

BUFFALO, NY – Fans will have their first opportunity to see the reigning MAC Champion men's basketball squad and a women's basketball team that is coming off its first ever WNIT appearance on Friday, Oct. 23 when they hold their annual Bulls Madness event at Alumni Arena.
Doors for the event will open at 6:00 pm, which will include a Select-A-Seat promotion, a photo station, and free food for all UB students in attendance. The event will begin promptly at 7:00 pm with the introduction of both coaching staffs and teams.
There will be a number of celebrity judges in attendance for the highlight of the evening, which will be the dunk contest. There will also be a three point contest and a fan/player shooting contest that will match members of both teams up with a fan and/or celebrity.
There will be a one-day ticket blitz on Tuesday, October 20th from 9am-6pm and fans are encouraged to "Beat The Stampede" There will be a dynamic ticket pricing structure that day for all men's basketball single game tickets. With limited tickets available at each price point, it is recommended that fans purchase tickets early to get the best deal.
100 tickets for each game will be sold at $8 dollars a ticket. Once the first 100 tickets are sold, another 100 tickets will be available at $10 dollars per ticket. Once those are sold, the same thing will happen at $12 dollars per ticket. Once that quota is reached, tickets will be sold a regular pricing. In addition, 100 tickets for the women's basketball game against Canisius on Nov. 17 will be on sale for a special price of $5.
Tickets for the upcoming season are being sold at a steady pace and are available by contacting the UB Ticket Office at 1-877-UB-There.
Led by first-year head coach Nate Oats, notable games at Alumni Arena include Big 4 rivals Canisius (Nov. 28) and St. Bonaventure (Dec. 2). Head women's coach Felisha Legette-Jack opens the regular season with three of their first four games at home, including Big 4 rival Canisius on Nov. 17.
The women will play their first contest in front of the home fans on Tuesday, Nov. 3 against Clarion at 7:00 pm, while the men will play in front of the home crowd for the first time on Friday, Nov. 6 against Daemen at 9:00 pm.
