
UB Has Winning Streak Snapped At Florida Atlantic

BOCA RATON, FL - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team had their eight match winning streak snapped on Sunday as the Bulls fell to Florida Atlantic, 5-2. The Bulls have now ended non-conference play with a 9-2 record.
Florida Atlantic took matches at both first and second doubles, although all three matches were tight. The Bulls picked up a win at third doubles as Margarita Kotok and Laura Holterbosch won, 8-5.
In singles action, senior Tanvi Shah won at first singles in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6 (4), while fellow senior Marta Stoyanova won at sixth singles, 2-6, 6-4, 10-4.
UB opens MAC play at home on Friday when it hosts Eastern Michigan at 1:00 pm.
