
Bulls Go The Distance at Princeton Larry Ellis Meet

PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo sent several of its distance specialists to Princeton University for the second time this month as the Bulls competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday night.
The Bulls had their highest finishes of the night in the elite division of the 800-meter run. In the women's race, Meghan Manley finished 12th among 51 entrants in 2:09.47. For the UB men, Tyler Scheving posted a season-best of 1:52.25 to place 18th in a 50-man race.
Three athletes competed in the elite division of the men's and women's 1,500-meter runs. Brian Crimmins placed 32nd among the 60 racers in the men's event at 3:52.28. Mike Pressler won his heat in 3:54.11, a season-best by almost five seconds, and finished 40th overall. Shelby Janutol was in the women's competition as she finished 38th of 41 in 4:49.52.
Zachary Krause finished 78th of 102 in the men's 5,000-meter run in 15:17.52. Krause lowered his season best in the event by nearly 20 seconds.
The Bulls return to action next week at the Cornell Big Red Invitational.
