TOURNAMENT STORYLINES
- Tournament Overview: For the first time since 2011, the University at Buffalo women's basketball team has advanced to Cleveland for the Mid-American Conference Tournament. The Bulls are coming off a first round victory at Alumni Arena against the Northern Illinois Huskies. UB finished the conference schedule 8-8, tied for their third best finish in school history.
- Jack'd Up: The Bulls struggled to a 2-11 non-conference record under first-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, but hard work and high energy paid off in conference where the Bulls won eight games and finished in fourth place in the MAC East after being picked last in the preseason. Coach Jack is the first UB coach to pick up a MAC Tournament victory in her first season on staff.
- Bulls Honored By The MAC: Freshman Mackenzie Loesing and sophomore Christa Baccas were both honored by the MAC for their accomplishments this season as both players were named All-MAC Honorable Mention. Loesing was also one of five players named to the All-MAC Freshman team. These honors are the first postseason accolades for both players.
