BUFFALO, NY – With the 2013-14 basketball season right around the corner, the University at Buffalo Division of Athletics has an exciting opportunity for local businesses with the launching of the Business Backs The Bulls program.
Interest in the Bulls has been at an all-time high as individual season ticket sales have already surpassed last year's numbers with three weeks still to go before the home openers and this new initiative will allow local businesses to be a part of the action as well.
For $500, the Business Backs The Bulls program gives local businesses four season tickets in the club section (Sec. 111), a scoreboard message, a listing on Buffalobulls.com and an exclusive networking opportunity during the year, which will include the UB coaching staffs and other business partners.
It will certainly be an exciting year of UB Basketball. The men's team has been picked to finish second in the East under new head coach and legendary Duke point guard, Bobby Hurley. The Bulls have a number of stars on their team, including preseason All-MAC selections, Javon McCrea and Will Regan.
In her second season as head coach of the women's basketball team, Felisha Legette-Jack has brought a new energy to campus and her team is picked to finish third in the MAC East and features Preseason All-MAC selection and Preseason Big 4 player of the year, Mackenzie Loesing.
The Business Backs The Bulls program began during the 2013 football season and saw great success, attracting over 70 local businesses and organizations participating in the inaugural program. To date, many of these businesses have signed up for basketball to take advantage of the great game day atmosphere, client entertainment and much more.
