Bulls Add A Pair Of Walk Ons For 2012-13

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo softball head coach Jen Teague has announced the addition of local products Abby Campbell and Yanava Hawkins to the 2012-13 squad as walk ons.
Campbell played one season at D'Youville College where she saw time at both catcher and shot stop. Prior to that, she attended Mount Mercy Academy where she played four seasons for head coach Billy Gangloff.
Hawkins attended City Honors where she was a first-team All-High selection, batting .644 her senior season. She was named an All-WNY Student-Athlete three consecutive years and was was also Player of the Year six times. Hawkins also played basketball and volleyball at City Honors.
"I am excited to have Abby and Yanava join our team and I love the energy they bring to the field each and every day," said Teague. "They provide great depth to our team and they will continue to push our entire team to be at its best each and every day."
