UB Cross Country and Track & Field Summer Camp
When: Sunday, July 7 – Wednesday, July 10, 2013
Where: UB Stadium, UB North Campus (Overnight campers will stay in the Ellicott Complex, but use multiple facilities around campus.)
Who Should Attend: The UB Track and Field Camp and Cross Country Camp help develop skills and techniques for track and field and cross country. They are learning camps, not training camps. Participants take part in drills, attend lectures and demonstrations, and use visual aids for each event, including the decathlon and heptathlon. Other aspects of competition – nutrition, rest, relaxation, and general health – are also part of the daily training. Because performance levels of campers may vary from beginner to advanced, instruction is individualized to accommodate that range. The camp is recommended for students entering grades 7-12 next fall. Cost is $50/individual, Team rate for 4 athletes from the same school $160, additional athletes from the same school at $20/athlete. (5 athletes from same school = $180, 6 = $200), Checks Payable to "UB Foundation".
