
Buffalo Basketball Announces Signing of Jarryn Skeete

BUFFALO, NY – Jarryn Skeete, a point guard from Brompton, Ontario, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University at Buffalo and play basketball for head coach Reggie Witherspoon. The 6-3, 180-lb. guard will join the Bulls beginning in the 2012-13 season.
"Jarryn is a great kid from a solid upbringing," Witherspoon said. "He has a great feel for the game and is a crafty playmaker. He has a good understanding of what it takes to run a team."
Skeete is ranked the 39th best point guard in the class of 2012 according to ESPN. He played his first three seasons at Cardinal Leger outside Toronto before playing his senior season at Wasatch Academy in Utah. He averaged 18 points, four rebounds and 5.5 assists at Wasatch en route to earning 1A All-State Most Valuable Player honors.
This season, he is playing at Bridgton Academy in Maine for head coach Whit Lesure. Bridgton is one of the premiere prep schools in the nation for basketball.
Skeete joins Stan Wier, a 6-3 guard from East Aurora, NY, who signed a National Letter of Intent on Nov. 9th.
