Maskulinski Named to Academic All-District Track & Field Second Team

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo senior track and field athleteTiffany Maskulinski has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 1 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Second Team, as chosen by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Maskulinski, an exercise science major with a 3.606 GPA, won the Mid-American Conference Title in the pole vault this past season and is on her way to her second straight NCAA Championships following a seventh-place finish at the NCAA East Preliminary Round. Maskulinski won the MAC Title after clearing a height of 13-4.50 (4.08m), becoming just the second UB woman ever to win a conference championship in the pole vault. In the East Preliminary Round, she was one of seven vaulters to clear 13-1.50 (4.00m).
Maskulinski is one of three UB athletes heading to the NCAA Championships next week in Eugene, Oregon. Competition in the pole vault takes place on Friday, June 11 in the afternoon.
