- Represented UB at the National Intercollegiate Golf Championship at the University of Michigan and the Eastern Intercollegiate Women's Badminton Championship, in which she claimed the doubles crown.
- Dominated women's junior golf in the area during the 1950s and didn't miss a beat when she began open competition against an impressive experienced number of WNY golfers.
- After her sophomore year at UB, she debuted - and proved her mettle - by capturing the Women's Buffalo District championship, eliminating 3 former champions and the previous year's beaten finalist in the match play event along the way.
- One week after her impressive performance, she prevailed in the Lancaster Country Club's women's championship, the 1st of 5 she would claim there.
- She celebrated the summer prior to her senior year at UB by winning the Women's Golf Association of WNY CHampionship again in match play over an expanded field in Rochester.
