Mary Clare Dineen joined the Office of Athlete Academic Affairs as an Athletic Advising Assistant and APS in August of 2022 and was promoted to Athletic Academic Advisor in February 2023. Mary Clare also coordinates New Student Athlete Orientation for incoming Bulls.

Mary Clare is a Buffalo native and graduate of University at Buffalo, with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She recently completed her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State University.

Prior to UB Athletics, Mary Clare gained experience in departments across campus coordinating the annual 2022 Welcome Weekend festivities with Student Engagement and assisted in the execution of both 2022 undergraduate commencement ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, she served as a graduate assistant at Buffalo State University for Student Leadership and Engagement primarily enhancing leadership programs and large-scale events across campus, while assisting with Residence Life responsibilities.
