John Ward has been a member of the UB Sports Medicine staff since June of 2005 and was elevated into his current role of Associate Athletic Trainer/Co-Director of Alumni Athletic Training Room in 2021.Â
Ward graduated from UB with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in exercise science in May of 2004. While completing his master’s degree, Ward served as a student athletic trainer for the UB women’s soccer team during the 2003 fall semester, and did an internship at Sweet Home High School during the 2004 spring semester.Â
Ward serves as a clinical preceptor for athletic training students from UB and currently works with the women’s soccer and women’s swimming and diving teams.
