Bio
2022-23: Went 1-2 in duals before missing the remainder of the season with an injury… had seven takedowns and an escape on the year.
2021-22: Went 14-13 overall, 6-10 in duals and 2-5 in MAC duals... placed fifth at the MAC Championships... defeated two-seed Brock Bergelin of Central Michigan in overtime in one of the biggest upsets of the MAC Championships... had 17 takedowns and 19 escapes on the season.
2020-21: Started every dual as a true freshman at 125… went 7-5 overall and 5-2 in MAC duals on the season… tied for second on the team in takedowns with 13… started the season 4-0 in dual matches… defeated Ohio’s Gio DiSabato, 2-0, for his first collegiate victory… had an 11-3 major decision over SIU-Edwardsville’s Austin Macias… finished eighth at the MAC Championships.
High School: Named the 2020 Peoria Journal Star Wrestler of the Year after becoming the first state champion in Peoria Notre Dame High School history… also the first wrestler in his school’s history to earn four state medals after also earning three third place finishes… his 17 career wins at the state finals were the most at any level in Illinois prep history… went a perfect 48-0 his senior season and 175-11 over his four-year career… a two-time section champion… a four-time region champion… a two-time Fargo qualifier… four-time member of the Central Illinois All-Area Team… honor roll student.
