Junior (2023 - 24): Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the indoor and outdoor seasons...set a new indoor 3,000 meter run personal record finishing the event in 10:54.44 at the SPIRE Mid-West Invite...had a season best mile time of 5:17.27 at the Cornell Invitational...set a collegiate best 800 meter time of 2:25.27 at the UB Alumni Invitational...ran a new personal best 1,500 meter time of 4:48.69 at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitatiomal...set a collegiate best mark in the outdoor 5,000 meter at the Geneseo Invitational (18:11.42) and a collegiate best 10,000 meter time at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic (39:15.55).
Sophomore (2022 - 23): Ran a personal best 3000 meter time of 11:01.29 at the Cornell Upstate Challenge.
Freshman (2021 - 22): Competed in three outdoor track & field meets for the Bulls...ran personal best in the 1,500-meter (5:04.73).
High School: Competed at the 2020 high school indoor states in the 4 x 800...competed at the NYS Showcase Outdoor in 2021 in the 4 x mile and 5000 meter.
Personal: Parents Riley Freeland and Angela Freeland...siblings Sean Freeland...chose UB because there are so many different opportunities that are available in terms of events, student-led organizations, academics, and athletics...teammates and friends inspire her to be a better version of myself everyday...Allyson Felix is her favorite athlete because she is a role model being a mother, business owner, and Olympian, while doing it all with grace...favorite movie to binge watch is Roman Holiday...enjoys baking and can’t live without tortillas...loves to read and ski.
