Career Highlights: Rowed for the Winnipeg Rowing Club. Won a gold and silver at the Western Canada Games and in 2008 she picked up gold medals in the junior women’s pair at the NWIRA and the Prairie Championships. Her junior women’s pair went on to the National Championships where she won a silver medal.
Personal: Full name is Sydney Leigh Gilchrist. Born January 20, 1991. Daughter of Michael and Nancy Gilchrist. Has two sisters, Courtney and Dana. Also played basketball. Would like to become a physiotherapist. Majoring in exercise science.
