2014: Appeared in nine games and made eight starts as a junior... Finished the season with a 1-3 record while posting a 5.35 ERA... Had his best outing of the year against Norfolk State (2/21), earning the win after pitching in 5.1 innings, striking out seven and allowing just one run... Tied a season-high with seven strikeouts against VMI (2/28)... Pitched three innings of relief against Bowling Green (5/17), allowing three hits and no runs on 47 pitches... Recorded five or more strikeouts in four of his eight starts.
2013: Took a big step forward as a sophomore, earning a spot in the weekend rotation and cutting his ERA from 10.57 to 4.29... made 15 starts, tied for the most in a single season in program history... threw 77.2 innings, the ninth most in a single season in program history... made five quality starts (6 IP, <4ER)... allowed two earned runs over 5.1 innings to get the win vs. Dayton (3/15)... struck out a season-high eight batters and allowed two earned runs vs. Central Michigan (3/23)... won three straight conference games, allowing six earned runs over 17.2 innings (3/29 - 4/12)... threw 5.1 innings without allowing a run against Ohio (5/3)... allowed one run in six innings in the final regular season start, against Bowling Green (5/17).
2012: Was a tremendous power pitcher as a freshman, striking out 25 batters in 23 innings pitched... made three starts and had 14 total appearances... was throw into action in the season opener against Kentucky, striking all three batters in his lone inning of work (2/24)... struck out four batters in two innings at UMBC (3/14)... had his best appearance of the season against Central Michigan, striking out four over three innings, allowing just two hits with no walks (3/25).
High School: Threw a no-hitter for his AAU team... named the top pitcher of the Fort Washington (Philadelphia), PA baseball factory by Baseball America... in 2010, he went 5-4 with a 3.06 earned-run average, striking out 80 batters in 48 innings and limiting opponents to a .178 batting average.
