2014: Proved to be one of the most consistent performers in the Bulls weekend starting rotation as a junior... Appeared in 14 games while starting 12... Finished the year with a 6-4 record while holding a 4.12 ERA... Started out the season with five straight wins in his first five starts... Had his best start of the season in his first appearance, pitching 7.1 innings while striking out five and allowing two hits against Villanova (2/22)... Notched a season-high seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work against Western Carolina (3/8)... Pitched five scoreless innings in relief against Ball State (3/29), striking out two batters... Finished the season with 44 strikeouts and had four starts with at least five strikeouts.
2013: Made the successful jump into the weekend starting rotation... made 15 starts, tied for the most in a single season in program history... threw 88.2 innings, fourth most in a single season... won seven games, tied for the third most in a single season... had a 4.26 ERA, more than a full run less than the season before... struck out 61 batters... made eight quality starts (6 IP, <4 ER)... named to the All-MAC second team... named the MAC East Pitcher of the Week after pitching a complete game and earning a 3-1 win over Toledo (4/6)... earned his second weekly honor of the season after allowing just four hits in a complete-game shutout of Ohio (5/4).
2012: Was the team’s top first-year performer on the mound, pitching 43 innings over 18 appearances... posted a 5.65 ERA... struck out 33 while walking only 16... earned his first collegiate win after throwing six scoreless innings of relief to help the team rally from a 6-1 deficit to beat Towson 8-6 (3/13)... struck out a season-high five batters over four innings against Western Michigan (3/31)... again shined as a long reliever, throwing six innings out of the bullpen to help the team come from behind to beat Akron 7-6, striking out four (4/14)... allowed just one hit over 3.2 innings against Ohio, striking out three Bobcats while not allowing a single walk (4/21)... shined when it mattered most, throwing two critical innings out of the ‘pen in the Mid-American Conference tournament semifinal against Kent State, striking out four batters while walking none and allowing one hit (5/25).
High School: Was a successful pitcher and batter for Immaculate Heart, earning four letters and was captain for one season under head coach Michael Delaney... All League member for three straight seasons... Class C First Team All-State... ESPN Rise Magazine named him one of the top ten pitchers in New York state as a senior... in his senior season, he batted .400 with 22 runs batted in and eight extra-base hits... struck out only nine times in 84 plate appearances in 2010-11... on the mound, he struck out 96 batters in 54 innings... posted a 3.76 ERA in 10 starts... also played football and basketball... played summer baseball for the Syracuse Sportszone Chiefs for two seasons for coach Dickie Woodridge.
