Bulls Fall at No. 14 Penn State

Penn State entered the game ranked as one of the best defenses in the country, allowing only nine points over the first two games of the season, including a shutout of Marshall in its home opener.
The Bulls fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter, before Oliver Hautanen kicked a 21-yard field goal to put the Bulls on the board. The sophomore kicker added a 38-yard field goal, on the final play of the second quarter, to cut the UB deficit to 34-6 at the half.
Penn State scored 21 straight points to start the second half to extend its lead.
The Bulls mounted an impressive 12-play, 75-yard drive that took over seven minutes, capped by a 1-yard touchdown run by James McNeil, Jr. with five minutes left in the game.
McNeil finished with a career-high 80 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries to pace the offense.
Safety John Keough led the defense with a career-best 11 tackles. Edge Logan Goodwin had five tackles, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry. Nickel SaVeon Brown finished with five tackles and a sack.
The Bulls are back in action next Saturday when they host Robert Morris at Broadview Stadium for a homecoming match up at 3:30 pm.
