Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Conference Schedule

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball program along with the Mid-American Conference announced the 2026-27 conference schedule on Wednesday morning. The conference expanded the slate to 22 games, 11 of which will be in Broadview Arena.
The conference slate will begin in early December against the Western Michigan Broncos on the road on the 2nd. Buffalo's home MAC opener will be against the reigning Regular Season Champion Miami (OH) RedHawks on Saturday, Dec. 5th. They will follow that up with a date against the three-time reigning MAC Tournament Champion Akron Zips on Wednesday, Dec. 16 in Broadview Arena. Their final conference game in the 2026 calendar year will be at Ohio on Saturday, Dec. 19th.
To open the New Year, the Bulls will travel to Kent State on Jan. 2nd. They will be back home to host the UMass Minutemen on Tuesday, Jan. 5th before hitting the road for a pair of games. UB will battle the Toledo Rockets on Jan. 9th and the Central Michigan Chippewas on Jan. 12th.
The Bulls will then have four of their next six in the comfortable confines of Broadview Arena beginning with the Bowling Green Falcons on Saturday, Jan. 16th. They will then head to Oxford, Ohio with a date against the Miami (OH) RedHawks on Tuesday, Jan. 19th. Back in Buffalo, they'll host the Toledo Rockets and the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Jan. 23rd and 26th, respectfully.
To close the month of January, they will play one the road against the Ball State Cardinals on Saturday, Jan. 30th. The Bulls will start the month of February with a home matchup against the Ohio Bobcats on Feb. 2nd. They will then travel to the Buckeye State with games at Akron and Bowling Green on Feb. 9th and 13th, respectfully.
The Bulls will close the regular season with four of six games at home. On Feb. 16th, they will host the Central Michigan Chippewas followed by the Kent State Golden Flashes on Feb. 20th. Their final road games of the year will be at UMass and Eastern Michigan on Feb. 23rd and 27th. The Ball State Cardinals will make their way to Western New York on March 2nd as the Western Michigan Broncos will bookend the conference schedule on Friday, March 5th.
Game dates may change due to flex scheduling. All MAC games are scheduled to stream on ESPN+.
