LAS VEGAS – The Silver Waves Media announced their 100 most impactful mid major assistants list on Monday afternoon. On the list was University at Buffalo Associate Head Coach Hamlet Tibbs.
Tibbs is in his third season at Buffalo and was Head Coach George Halcovage III's first hire on his staff. He's helped the Bulls to a 13-2 record on the season and a 3-0 start in MAC play. This season, he has helped the Bulls take home three MAC Player of the Week honors with Daniel Freitag taking home a pair as Ryan Sabol won his first career honor on Dec. 29th. Last season, Tibbs helped UB take home their first Freshman All-MAC honor since CJ Massinburg did so in 2015.
