
Mid-American Conference Unveils Men’s Basketball Conference Slate

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University at Buffalo in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference announced the 2025-26 conference schedule on Thursday morning. In total, each MAC program will play 18 games.
Buffalo will begin their conference slate on Dec. 20 when they travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. to play Western Michigan. They will then play at Northern Illinois for the last time as a conference foe on Dec. 30 before the New Year. The Bulls' first home conference game will be against the Ball State Cardinals on Jan. 3.
After a bye, the Bulls will travel to Ohio on Jan. 10. The Kent State Golden Flashes will head to Western New York on Jan. 13 before UB heads back on the road for a meeting against Miami (OH) on Jan. 17.
After starting the conference season with four of their first six games on the road, the Bulls will play four of five games at Alumni Arena. The Akron Zips will come to Buffalo on Jan. 20 before welcoming the UMass Minutemen to the conference on Jan. 24. The Bulls will head to Bowling Green on Jan. 27 before hosting Ohio and Miami (OH) on Jan. 31 and Feb. 3, respectively.
MACtion will take a break on Feb. 7 as it'll be the second game of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The MAC will be on the road for this matchup. Following the Challenge, the Bulls will head to Muncie, Ind. for a contest against the Ball State Cardinals on Feb. 11.
After a bye, the Bulls will close the season with three games on the road and at home. The Bulls will welcome the Northern Illinois Huskies to Alumni Arena one last time before they leave the conference on Feb. 17. For the first time in program history, the Bulls will play at UMass on Feb. 21. The Bulls will then zip over to Akron on Feb. 24.
Buffalo's last homestand will be against Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan on Feb. 28 and March 3, respectively. The regular season will come to a close on the road at Toledo on March 6.
