Bulls Open MAC Championships at Home With Series of Season Best Relays

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo swimming and diving program opened MAC Championships at home on Wednesday night in front of an energy-packed Alumni Arena Natatorium. The Bulls fed off the crowd noise by posting a series of season-best times in the relay events.
The conference championships kicked off with the 200-yard medley relay. Buffalo finished fifth of the eight programs in attendance, with a time of 1:39.62. The team of Mia Naccarella, Grace Rider, Nicole Aguilar and Jillian Strine set a season-best for the Bulls, beating their previous best of 1:40.08 set at Akron's Zippy Invite.
The second relay of the opening night was the 800-yard freestyle relay. The Bulls posted a season-best time of 7:13.42. Naccarella, Isabella Forsman, Sawyer Bosley and Abbey Gardner combined to finish second and set the fourth-ranked time in program history.
