Bulls to Host Monmouth in WNIT First Round

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team will host Monmouth in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) at Alumni Arena on Thursday at 6pm.
It is the second WNIT appearance for the Bulls, with the last time coming in 2015 where they faced West Virginia in the first round.
This is the first overall meeting between the two programs. Monmouth is 21-9 on the season and went 14-4 in the Colonial Athletic Conference this year. The Hawks lost to eventual CAA champion Drexel 58-56in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament.
