Men’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball program announced the completion of the 2023-24 campaign on Tuesday afternoon. The schedule will feature six regular season home games along with four road matchups and three neutral site contests.
The Bulls will start on Monday, Oct. 23 against Daemen in a home exhibition before the regular season. UB will open the 2023-24 season hosting the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights on Monday, Nov. 6. This will be a double-header with the women's team playing Canisius at 5 p.m. The Knights upset No. 1-seed Purdue in last year's NCAA Tournament. As previously announced, the Bulls will host the South Alabama Jaguars as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge on Saturday, Nov. 11. In their final home game in the month of November, UB will play Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday the 15th.
In their first game away from Alumni Arena, they'll participate in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Fort, Myers, Fla. The tournament will run from Monday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Hertz Arena. The Bulls will play the Hofstra Pride to open their competition on that Monday and will play the winner/loser of Louisiana and Wright State. Their third game of the tournament will be played on Wednesday. After Thanksgiving, UB will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to play James Madison on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The Bulls will be back in Alumni Arena as they host rival St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Bulls defeated the Bonnies, 83-66 last season. The team will then head west to Indianapolis to play the Butler Bulldogs on Tuesday, Dec. 5. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will make their way to Western New York on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Bulls defeated the Hilltoppers on the road in the 2021-22 season. The team will then head back to the state of Virginia to play the Richmond Spiders on Thursday, Dec. 21. To end the calendar year, the Bulls will play on Friday, Dec. 29 with Big 4 rival Niagara coming to Alumni Arena for the first time since Dec. of 2019.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, UB will travel to a Sun Belt school for the second game of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The opponent will be announced in January where the matchups will be determined by real-time NCAA NET rankings.
