Three Former Bulls Sign CFL Contracts

BUFFALO, NY – Three former University at Buffalo football players have signed contracts to play professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Wide receiver Quian Williams and cornerback Isaiah King signed with the Toronto Argonauts while defensive end Damian Jackson signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Williams started all 25 games over his two seasons with the Bulls. He totaled 125 receptions for 1,578 yards and seven touchdowns over his UB career and was a two-time All-MAC selection.
King spent six seasons with the Bulls, appearing in 56 games and making 21 starts. His career totals included 78 tackles, a tackle for loss, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Jackson spent one season with the Bulls after transferring from Nebraska for his final year of eligibility. He appeared in 13 games and made nine starts at defensive end and had 27 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack on the season.
The trio will join two other former Bulls in the CFL. Tomas Jack-Kurdyla is entering his third season in Edmonton and Anthony Johnson is set to begin his second season in Hamilton.
