
Bulls Announce 2026 Football Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo, in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference, announced the 2026 football schedule on Tuesday. The 112th season of UB football will kick off against Albany on Sept. 3
Under third-year head coach Pete Lembo, the Bulls will host the Great Danes on Thursday, Sept. 3 at Broadview Stadium (formerly UB Stadium).
Buffalo will play its next two games on the road. The Bulls will travel to Miami to take on Florida International at Pit Bull Stadium on Sept. 12. It will be the first meeting between the schools.
Up next, UB will play at Penn State on Sept. 19. It will be the fifth time the Bulls will play the Big Ten foe.
The Bulls will close out non-conference play at home against Robert Morris on Sept. 26. It will be the second meeting between the schools and first since 2019.
Buffalo will open Mid-American Conference play at home against defending conference champion Western Michigan on Oct. 3, followed by a game at Toledo on Oct. 10.
On Oct. 17, UB will host UMass in the second annual battle for the Flagship Cup. The Bulls defeated the Minutemen, 28-21, to win the inaugural rivalry game in Amherst, MA last season.
Buffalo will remain home to host Bowling Green on Oct. 24.
As the calendar turns to November, that means the return of midweek MACtion. UB's final four games of the season will be played during the week, beginning with a game at Miami (OH) on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The Bulls will travel to Ball State on Wednesday, Nov. 11. It will be a homecoming for Lembo who served as the Cardinals' head coach from 2011-15.
Buffalo will play its home finale on Wednesday, Nov. 18 when it hosts Central Michigan.
The Bulls will close out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 27 at Akron.
The Mid-American Conference Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Ford Field in Detroit.
Kick times and television platforms will be announced at a later date.
